Windschief Cowl
Well winter is here and it's time for hats, mittens, cowls and other stuff to keep you warm. A Winschief cowl for Surya. For children cowls are much more pratical than scarves. This one took me just a few hours to make. For more information you can consult my Ravelry project page.

A new bag for Surya
I haven't posted for a while because I've been very busy trying to organise my workspace and sorting through my fabric stash. I started working on my scrap box. I keep all my scrap fabric because they might come in handy at some point, but the problem is that I have accumalated so much that it was time to start working throught that box. I have many things to show and I will do this when I finally find the time to take some pictures.
Today, I made a book bag for Surya. He needed one for school. I used the leftover elephant fabric that I used to make some project bags with, the orange fabric that I used to line some bags I made about 3 years ago and the star fabric I used to make some pillows with. This bag turnt out really nice and it made a little boy very happy.

You've got mail !!!
I was very delighted this morning to find this lovely pair of Nola slippers in my letterbox. This was from a swap I did a while ago. Thank you Jessica. I just love them and they came at the right time. It's getting a chilly in Brittany.

Windward ... again
After my first Windward I decided to make another one. I just love the unusual shape of this shawl. This time I used Malabrigo Sock in Eggplant, I only used 1 skein instead of 1,2 skeins as most of the projects on Ravelry stated.
With the Malabrigo sock yarn the shawl is slighter longer and a bit wider than it's version in Wollmeise. It's also a bit lighter than the version in Wollmeise.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Lintilla
Another great design from Martina Behm, Lintilla. I took this project everywhere with me for two months. I mostly knit it when I was in public transport or waiting in queques. This is the perfect project for that, garter stitch and short rows.
I used 1 skein of Wollemeise merino superwash in this excellent colour which is hard to capature. Once I finished and blocked it, I was very pleased with the result but unfortunately the Linitlla was not for me. I might have to make one for myself, if I find the time. The Lintilla was for my friend Martine. As I didn't know what to offer Martine for Christmas, I offered her my knitting services because I knew that there were a few designs on Rvaelry that she liked and as she can't knit, what better gift.
